I've got a few clients with Firewalls that we "ugpraded" the
IPSO to, rather than a clean install, and there have been
problems.. the upgrade doesn't allocate enough swap
space like a clean install does.

If you can, just backkup all the config files (objects.C, rulebases.fws,
and fwauth.NDB) and then do a clean IPSO install and install FP2,
then use the upgrade script to merge those 3 files to the new FP2
versions....

Hi,

We have couple of Nokia IP330 on IPSO 3.4.1 FCS 10 running FW1 4.1. To
upgrade to NG FP2, I believe the IPSO needs to be upgraded to a
recommended version of 3.5 FSC6.
What is the safest or recommended method to upgrade the IPSO?
Is it straightforward?
What are the risks involved, if any.

Thanks in advance.

Ram
