Attention,
IPSO 3.5.1 is ONLY for the IP350 and IP380 not for the IP330.
The way I am usually doing this is the following :
- Upgrade to IPSO 3.5-FCS14
- Upgrade to CheckPoint 4.1-SP6
- Upgrade to CheckPoint NG FP3-HF2
- Upgrade to IPSO 3.6-FCS6 (or FCS7 by too new, I have no
experience with it)
But off course as always read the Release Notes

We have couple of Nokia IP330 on IPSO 3.4.1 FCS 10 running FW1 4.1. To
upgrade to NG FP2, I believe the IPSO needs to be upgraded to a
recommended version of 3.5 FSC6.
What is the safest or recommended method to upgrade the IPSO?
Is it straightforward?
What are the risks involved, if any.
