No one is hating, I just don't think you explained well.

Are you trying to allow computers inside the firewall to
communicate with a web server behind an FW-1 using the
same IP address as Internet users use?  For example,
client A on the Internet hits a site using a routable
ip address of 1.1.1.1.  Internally, you want your
192.168.x.x users to be able to hit the site using
1.1.1.1 while both hosts are behind the firewall.

If I understand correctly, yes it is possible using proxy ARP's,
NAT, and the appropriate rules.

Hmmm you say it does not make sense (to you) ... well I say it does for me.
Sonicwall offers this feature and it's proved quite useful so it makes
sense to at least myself and Sonicwall !!!.

Sonicwall also acts a router. Please don't hate !!!
