Hi,

Actually I have Antivirus CVP edition running on my own server. The problem
is when someone/anyone send an unknown email address to mail server, it will
never be bounced back again. I saw on SmartView Tracker, it's dropped by
Firewall. I trace down this problem and found that my Antivirus tried to
resolve SMTP by using MX record, and Firewall's SMTP answer this. Houw could
I avoid this problem that the real mail server should response to bounced
mail ?

Regards,
Hermanto Lie

Hi,

In most cases it is easier to change the banner on your Mail relay (anti
spam,SMTP AV filter etc) than to rely on the Checkpoint SMTP server, given
the number of postings from people having various 'issues' with it, I
suggest you change the banner on your mail relay and NAT the SMTP traffic
straight to this box.

 HTH,

 Ross.
