Hello,

we are playing around with SNMP.

Server ist located at office A which uses static NAT (NG FP3). Client is
at location B with official IP address.

The NAT rewrites the IP header information so that server and client can
communicate but in the payload of the SNMP packets the server IP address
is 192.168.x.x
Is there a way to also change the IP address information inside the
packets (I suppose not).

regards
        Rainer

You don't know what real time-critical software is until you're
responsible for the paychecks of a battalion of heavily armed
Marines. (somebody in alt.sysadmin.recovery)
