I suggest you try the Cisco VPN client for linux. It is capable of
making a tunnel through Checkpoint ( but for NG only)
Another option is to use winemu or vmware under linux.

In the past, CheckPoint release the SecuRemote Client for RH7.x but
they stop to do that:
