Hi Romal,
Hi
While installing a policy the following error message is received also no logs
are being tracked for the gateways recieving the error.
Target localhost is not defined as an NG module, please use the -l flag
I was able to find a solution in the Checkpoint Website but it makes to sense
to me.
It advises to delete Zombie objects from all security poilicies then reinstall
the policy.
What's a zombie object and what do I delete ???????
Can someone please help !!!!!
Many thanks.
actually I would guess that a zombie object is a not used object. But my
experience with that error is that NG FP2/3 dont like it if you have
several objects for the firewall modul/management server object. I have
had excatly the same error after upgrading from 4.1 to NG. There where
defined several firewall objects instead of using the topology map in
the Checkpoint object. Please ensure that there are no other network
objects with the same ip addresses as firewall or management server.
Kind regards
Olaf
