Hi Eric,

The first thing you'e going to want to do is learn how to use (and maybe
install) the SecureClient Packaging Tool. It allows you to create a single
executable for installing SecureClient with many of the options predefined
and locked down. You download the "administrator" install from the CP
website and put it in a folder called "souce". You will need one version
for each of the major operating systems, by the way. The packaging tool
takes the "source" files and builds a single executable and sticks it in
another folder. You can disable the ability of the end user to shut off SC,
disable their ability to unload the security policy, etc.

You'll then set a desktop security policy rule that allows SecureClient to
comunicate with the encryption domain unencrypted when they are not logged
in via SecureClient.

Hello,

I am trying to configure my VPN. I am using NG with AI running on a Nokia
appliance. Can anyone point me to a sample rule base and sample
configuration for a basic VPN? I want to start out with my users being
able
to browse the internet from their home cable/dsl connections. I am using
SecureClient, and I do not want them to be able to shut off the client. I
also need them to be unaffected when they are on the LAN.

A point in the right direction would be most appreciated!

Thank you,

Eric
