Hi There,

just use the CP Merge Tools.
http://www.checkpoint.com/techsupport/downloadsng/utilities.html

1st: merge the object database, then the rulebase as described in the manual.

Good luck

Toan,

Subject: [FW-1] Moving rulebase

I'm building a replacement machine for FW1 NG. Different hardware but same OS.
I've tried to keep the ethernet interfaces the same as well. I'm running it
on Linux 7.3 w/ correct kernel version. I am using the same platform and
trying to use the same NG version. Is there a way to move the rulebase from
old FW to new FW?
Most docs I've found only describe moving from 4.1 to NG or platform to
different platform. Any help appreciated.

Thank,

Toan Ngo
