Hi,
What version of Linux kernel is recommended to new installation of
Firewall-1 AI R55?
I checked the release notes of this version and there Checkpoint says that
the R55 runs on the kernels 2.4.18-5, 2.4.20, and 2.4.20-24.7... but all
these versions have known security issues, haven´t they? So -- I think -- it
would not be wise to install a firewall under one of them.
What do you advise me to do? Should I turn to Secure Platform? What kernel
version do you use in your machines? I *really* want to hear your thoughts
and recommendations on this issue!
