I have a Dell box running NG FP2 on SecurePlatform.
I need to redeploy this box to a different point in
my network. This will, of course, involve changing its
addresses, which in turn will I think mean regenerating
its license(s). (Let me know if I've got any of that
seriously wrong....)
It seems like this might be a good time to update it
to something newer. I'm afraid I've lost track of whether
FP4 or FP5 is current, but I also wonder if there's a
newer SecurePlatform that I might need to upgrade to in
order to run a newer FP. Anybody know?
I'm kind of planning to pull it from its current location,
re-address the outside interface, relicense/upgrade, and then
hook up the internal side and tell the gateway to start
routing traffic through it. Interested in recommendations,
especially if a different order makes sense, or if there are
gotchas in the relicense/upgrade process to watch for.
