Seconding the other comment, but it is difficult to say without more
infos if it will work or not, to me it all depends on what traffic you
will push through, I have a customer that runs a Stand-Alone IP330 with
256 Mb and it runs just fine, but this box is not under a high load.
So the questions should be:
- Are you using VPN traffic ??
- Are you using Security Servers ??
- How many connections do you push through ??
- etc.
On the other hand if it runs slowly, you might have some DNS issues

appears to move a bit sluggish, although the secure platform indicates
under 1 usage on it...
What would be, in your opinion, a recommended hardware box to run CP NG
AI R55 on a secure platform?
