Do you have conntection to Nokia Knowledge-Base??
There are exact Step-by-Step Procedures to upgrade IPSO and Bootmanager.
This is really a easy thing. i did it from 3.4 to 3.7.1 a few weeks ago.
I would recommend to install the box from the scratch. But you have a little
downtime then,
installing ipso from bootmanager (not from voyager)
If you have a HA-Pair, you could do this very easy.
Upgrading the second one first, then put the second one as active an upgrade
the first one...
Checkpoint Provides easy Upgrade-Scripts for the Management-Server though!
So you can export the config from the old one and import it to a new clean
installation.
But you still have to do some fixes and config work...

Hello
I need to upgrade from IPSO3.6 and VPN-1/FW-1 NG FP3 to IPSO3.7.1 and
AI(R55).
So I want a step by step procedure to upgrade them. Please help me.
Especially I'm not sure how to upgrade AI(R55).
Regarding upgrading IPSO, I think it's easy to upgrade IPSO through Voyager.
But I got a boot manager(nkipflash-371.bin), how can I use this file for the
upgrade?
