Hi folks. Having a big problem trying to get SecureClient NG (BI R55)
installed on Windows 98 (SE). I've reinstalled win98 on a freshly formatted
hard drive and did nothing other than install the client.
The install seems to go okay but after reboot, the client does not load. If I
manually try to run it, I immediately get a dialog up with the title "fwenc"
and just the text "Error c0000006 Do you want to continue" and a Yes and No
button. Regardless of which button I click on, I get an application error
"SR_GUI caused an invalid page fault in module GUI.DLL".
If I try to run the diagnostics, it tells me that none of the processes are
running. If I click on the "Log" view I get "SR_DIAGNOSTICS caused an invalid
page fault in module SR__DIAGNOSTICS.EXE".
I would almost suspect hardware problems, but I had Win98 installed and running
SecureClient 4.1 on this system previously, and it also has a Linux partition
which works fine.
Any ideas?
