If you connect some computer to the router instead of the firewall,
can that computer access anything? If it can, your firewall has
the problem - if it can't, something is wrong with the connection
from computer (or firewall) to router or from router to internet.

Depending on your Edge box it will work with whatever CAT5
cable, i.e. doesn't matter if it's straight or cross. Check the
specs. Maybe all the models can do that, I'm not sure.

If your computer is in the lan ports of the Edge, the default
gateway on the computers should be the lan address of the Edge
as Edge will know routes to the outside (and as I understand
in your configuration Edge will route to this Cisco).
