here is what you need to do,
make directory on VAR directory like download, and FTP HFA to this directory,
and follow these intructions,
thisFW[admin]# ls
SHF_HFA_408.ipso.tgz
thisFW[admin]# gunzip SHF_HFA_408.ipso.tgz
thisFW[admin]# ls
SHF_HFA_408.ipso.tar
thisFW[admin]# tar -xvf SHF_HFA_408.ipso.tar
install_hfa
uninstall_hfa
files/cpshared_HOTFIX_HFA_408_540019703_1
files/fw1_HOTFIX_HFA_408_540019703_1
files/pre_upgrade_verifier
thisFW[admin]# ls
SHF_HFA_408.ipso.tar files install_hfa
uninstall_hfa
thisFW[admin]# ./install_hfa
