Hi, all
We are evaluating SecureClient R55 with NGAI R55 server. It seems to me that
every 30 minutes we get re-authentication prompt from SecureClient either
the remote login users are active or idle on their computers . The value
that we set is Policy -> Global Properties... -> Remote Access ->
Authentication Timeout -> Validation timeout every "30" Minutes. It seems
annoying when user is active at the time when they are working and get a
prompt for authentication. Of course, if it is idle, yes, we want the VPN
connection time out for security reason.
We use MS Active Directory server for user authentication.
What we like to have is that Secure Client authentication method is like
Screen Saver. When user is active on their computer, no authentication
required. When their systems are idle (i.e. users worked away or doing
something else not related to their computers), for certain time, i.e. 30
minutes, Secure Client kicks off for re-authentication. If the user is not
responding, the connection drops between Secure Client and firewall.
Do I setup correctly? Thanks in advance.
