Hello,

I'm using FW1 NG FP3 on linux 2.4.18 platform with cluster XL.

I use different subnets on my network. One is reserverved for cluster XL
sync.
The other day i had a network outage on some of these subnets (not the sync
one) and the FW1 was not able to contact FW2 on this subnet. What I've
noticed is that on the subnet where the outage was, lots of outgoing request
were losts even if the box who tries to do an outgoing request could reach
the FW1.
What i deduce from that is that the sync network was running well so the fw1
and fw2 see each other, but the outage on the other subnet was not detected.
So my box was multicasting its outgoing request, but sometimes de fw1
doesn't get it because it thinks fw2 will get it ....

Does someone experienced this before ?
Is there a configuration directive to make the FW1 get all requests on a
subnet when it knows FW2 will not get the request because of an outage on
this subnet ?

Regards,
