Hi

OK - I found the problem - thanks to an earlier e-mail from Reinhard Stich
about someone else's SecureRemote problem! I did a Get with Topology and
this reset two of my interfaces back to This Network from External.

So I now have working remote access - but how does this affect my licensing
- these interfaces are external facing as far as I'm concerned - but is FW-1
going to treat them as internal?

Cheers

Simon

What R56 bugs has everyone seen? Other than the XP TCP stack issues,
anything else?

Use the R55 client - R56 has too many bugs at the present moment

Also if you are behind a NATTED device (cable) you need to use NAT traversal
tunnelling ie 'Support IKE over TCP' and 'Force UDP encapsulation' check
these boxes one at a time, usually IKE over TCP gets it the first time.

Stay away from R56, R55 is the best yet

Hi

I have a W2K3 NG R55-HFA04 server set-up.

When I run the SecureRemote client (I'm using the R56 client) I can create
the site (which needs authentication) and this pulls down the Remote Access
profile OK , but when I go to connect to this site I get the message
'Gateway Not Responding' and then 'Connection Failed'.

I'm not seeing any activity in the logs when I try to connect, but I can see
it when the site is set-up.

Anyone have a hint or two?

Cheers

Simon
