Dear all
I have installed a firewall in a distributed configuration. The SmartCenter
server runs NG AI R54 and the module is running NG FP3.

The firewall module has 4 ports. One port has been reserved for the management
network (network comprising firewall host Ip, Smartcenter Server). Another port
interfaces with our internal network. I have installed SmartConsole on one of
the administrator workstations in our internal network. However when I try to
open Smart DashBoard from this GUI client I get the error : Connection cannot
be initiated, please check that 'ip address of SmartCenter server' is up and
running and that you are defined as a GUI client.

I have enabled the GUI client in my management server (windows 2K SP3) using
cpconfig (I have entered the IP address of the GUI client).
Checked connectivity between GUI client and SmartCenter Server (GUI client can
ping to SmartCenter server).
I have even enabled CPMI between my GUI client and SmartCenter server.

Nothing seems to work. Can anyone shed some light??

Regards
Shiroma
