Simply copy the generated registration key.If there is NAT in front of
smartcenter edit %FWDIR%\conf\sofaware\SWManagementServer.ini file, and
under "Server" with the following line:
ExternalIP=199.99.99.99 (NAT address of the mgmt)
Generating the key:
smartdashboard - vpn1 edge gw -edit registration key- type your key-
generate registration key

Are you talking about the dialog box that pops up after you enter the
SmartCenter IP address in the Services page? This had me stumped too.
I finally figured out that the name it's looking for is the name that the
Edge box was given in Check Point objects. The password it's looking for is
the "registration key" that you either entered manually on the Edge object
or that you had it randomly generate.
