installed on solaris operating system and Management module which is
installed on Windows 2000.
SIC get established between newly installed Firewall enforcement module and
Management module. But after copying respective conf and Data derectories
from original Management module to backup Management module If I try for
estblishing SIC again it fails.
If anyone can guide regarding the same.

Hi,
have you configured (and licensed) the backup Management as
'Management-HA' by Check Point?
If installing Management-HA you are asked if you want to set up a
'primary' or 'secondary' SmartCenter. If you install a 'secondary', the
CA will not create keys but take them from the 'primary' SmartCenter
when the first (manual) sync is done. Due to this it's a 'clone' of the
first SmartCenter. For this action, a license is necessary.
Your mail sounds a bit as if you have configured two 'primary'
SmartCenter, so you have two different CAs. So if you have a SIC from
the first SmartCenter and switch to the second SmartCenter, the
certificate isn't valid - and you have to reset SIC. Then it should work.
It's important to know, that information is not only in $FWDIR, but also
in $CPDIR.
Hope it helps,
best regards,
Matthias
