This will fail. The new management has a SIC trust relationship that is
different from that of those contained within the conf and db directories
from your old management server.
You will need to do a SIC reset, or even better, follow the instructions in
Appendix D of the Management Upgrade guide available as a download from
Check Point's website. That should do the trick.

Hi,

I wantted to create backup setup for Firewall enforcement module which is
installed on solaris operating system and Management module which is
installed on Windows 2000.

SIC get established between newly installed Firewall enforcement module and
Management module. But after copying respective conf and Data derectories
from original Management module to backup Management module If I try for
estblishing SIC again it fails.

If anyone can guide regarding the same.
