Trying to upgrade in a test environment, PRIOR to installing on our
production boxes.

I have 1 SmartCenter server running on a win 2k3 server. I have one box
running SPLAT. Installed from R55 HF2 CD. Straight out of the box setup,
no heavy mods done to either machine...

Downloaded the Win HF9 and the SPLAT HF9.

Per the instructions I patched the smartcenter server. I then loaded the
2 SPLAT packages into the product repository. The instructions say you
must install each package individually. The SVN foundation installs fine
via SmartUpdate, but the other package does not.

So I setup a TFTP server and tried to patch add, but I get an error
message saying the file is too big for TFTP. I cant split the .tgz on my
win box cause linux wont understand it, need to transfer as a single
.tgz...

What gives?

In the meantime ive had to burn the .tgz to a cd and manually extract to
splat and install, but that's not exceptable... would prefer Smartupdate
to work
