Whenever you request CKPT support regarding documentation, you have to PROVE to
them that you've already read this manual, that manual, this help screen, etc.
Even then, they try to point you to the same documents you just indicated. It
isn't until after you've made it abundantly clear that the documentation isn't
documentation, but reference at best, do they make some kind of attempt at the
issue.
You won't find documentation on this issue on the docs on the CD or in the help
screens. It will probably come from some obscure document at
http://www.checkpoint.com/support/technical/documents/docs-5.0 but I'm not sure
how to get what you need.
CKPT support usually just gives me a page number of a page that references
somewhat obscurely what I'm looking for, and it usually is the page/doc that
pointed me to them in the first place.
Try some of these:

com/msg00766.html
http://www.mail-archive.com/fw-1-mailinglist AT beethoven.us.checkpoint DOT
com/msg09881.html
It might give you a jump in the right direction.
