Hello all,
I am using CP NG FP3 on Windows 2000 Server platform with StoneBeat
Cluster. Sometimes my firewall modules are getting high CPU utilization
( > 95% ) for no apparent reason. It can last a whole day or so and then
it goes to normal levels. I monitored the processes and everything else
during the high utilization periods but I didn't see anything unusual.
Also, there was no change in configuration of the firewall for about six
months now. Plus, I don't have any kind of external or internal attack
during the problem.
I had the same issue with another Windows 2000 platform installation (CP
NG FP4 AI) and when I switched to SPLAT the problem was solved.
Do you have any ideas or similar experiences ?
Thank you in advance.
PS. My Windows 2000 platforms are hardened.
