[FW-1] TZ issues as of CSDT "falling back"

Nov 1, at about 2 AM, Daylight Savings Time killed us again.

Is there no way to automatically have the SPLAT OS "know" what TZ
you're in and that it is supposed to "fall back" one hour in the
fall???

I have huge spaces in my log files where the FW1 module's log entries
are exactly one hour off of all other logging devices (syslog servers,
etc.).

Help?
