Please check whether you OSPF routing on the network requires authentication
to participate. Maybe your router (I assumed Cisco router) is configured
with MD5 authentication for OSPF. If that so, you may need to set OSPF
authentication in your firewall. But if not, check with Zebra support about
it.

Alex

Subject: [FW-1] splat R55 and zebra - warning
Hi All,
Ive installed splat R55 with HFA11, and Im using zebra for OSPF routing.
All
is fine, and zebra is participating in the OSPF network.
However in the /var/log/zebra/ospfd.log I am getting a few lines like
this:
'warning OSPF: interafce 192.168.0.1 ospf_read md5 authentication failed'
Adjancies and routes remain ok during this time, and I havent seen any
problem, but I'd like to ask if others are seeing this warning in the
logs,
and if anyone knows what is causing this ? Is it perhaps wise to compile
and install the latest zebra (0.94) or quagga instead ?
thanks
Mark
