It is possible, but ... not too easy. They use the wellfleet agent.
Look whether cpsnmpd is running. If not -> Look why it did not start.
Look at these files:
Configuration (Checkpoint GUI): $FWDIR/conf/snmp.C. You need this if you have
a cluster because from the cluster object you cannot access the SNMP confg
any more.
Agent configuration in $CPDIR/lib/snmp. I did not find any good documentation
about that. Even Checkpoint does not seem to have it. But finally I figured
it out myself. Mail me if you have problems with it.
Read the MIBs !
Have fun with SNMP ! If you want you can install net-snmp additionaly, because
theis can do much more than the one from checkpoint. If you want to look for
a commercial one: CIAgent (snmp.com) is the best.
