For the cost, ConnectControl sucks !!!

  1.  It is simply a load balancer

  2.  It only uses ICMP to determine system health

  3.  The web server process may be non-responsive, but CC still
      thinks server is still operational if it responds to ICMP

  4.  Round-Robin DNS does a reasonable job for load balancing
      and redundancy -- it costs $0 dollars

It sounds like you are looking for a reverse proxy like the earlier post re: ISA
server?
