Hi All,
A few days ago I posted here a wrong solution regarding how to change
SecuRemote to SecureClient.
The solution I suggested is good for SecuRemote 4.1 - R55. BUT it is
not the right solution for R56 - SORRY.
The attribute you need to modify in order to change SecuRemote to
SecureClient and vice versa is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Checkpoint\Securemote\Configuration
If the value is 1 then the installation was SecuRemote
If the value is 2 then the installation was SecureClient
DO NOT forget to kill SecuRemote and only then to make the modification.
Nevertheless, I tried it and indeed SecuRemote is becoming SecureClient
BUT I am having a few issues with it.
So...... I am going to play with it a little bit and update you
regarding the status of this issue.
All the best,
Sagiv
