I am looking for anyone on this list with experience with Cingular/ATT
wireless with the GC83 SonyEricsson wireless card. I am using R56 of
SecureClient with 4.2.11 Cingular Connection Manager for the wireless
connection. I have loaded and configured the software to the point of being
able to authenticate to the VPN when connected via the wireless card. I am
using the Public Network on the Cingular/ATT network. I can see the
successful login on the Checkpoint VPN log. However when I try to connect
to something behind the firewall, I cannot see any attempt on the firewall
of the client trying to access any computers on the private corporate
network. When I use this same SecureClient configuration on the same laptop
without the GC83 card, everything works just fine. I have tried to add a
route : route add a.b.c.d MASK my.sub.net.0 PUB.IP.OF.FW, the route cannot
be configured because the gateway is not on the same network, which tells me
that the Cingular card is not allowing the alteration of the routing table
necessary for the VPN to work. Any ideas?
