Pat,
Did you setup the Cingular Connection Manager for use with the VPN-1
client? It's supposed to be compatible with Check Point. I read that
you have to launch SecureClient from the Connection Manager's VPN
button after configuring it. I'm not sure if that is a requirement or
just a convenience.
I've recently been researching this purchase for myself. I may hold
off now that I saw your post. I know that some providers require an
additional VPN fee. Is Cingular blocking ESP packets and require an
additional service charge to use corporate VPNs?
BTW: VPN client issues notwithstanding, what speeds are you getting
for Internet surfing? From what part of the globe? Is the connection
reliable?
