Michael,
might it be a routing issue? With office mode t=you get an IP-adres for which
you have arranged routing in your internal net. Without office mode you don't
get an IP address, you you use the clients address. If that address is not
routed back to the firewall you'll have problems like this. You can use
IP-Pools (not officemode) In the NAT-tab of the gateway. This NAT's the VPN
traffic to an address which is routeable in you network.
