Not at all, I have put in hundreds of these, all using the Nokia as a
default gateway.
Essentially, Nokias are routers to begin with, with Checkpoint on top.
I cant think of any possible reason for this.

today an external engineer told me that there are known problems when using
an Nokia appliance as
a default gateway for many clients. He further told me there is a whitepaper
saying not to set it
up like this. Unfortunately he had no more info on this. I searched the
whole Nokia KB and looked
through the docs for IPSO 3.6-3.8 but could not find anything.
Has anybody heard of this or seen strange things in such a situation?
