Digital Signatures - if it's the SMIME, is impossible to be made by a
3rd party system other than the sender himself! The whole idea is for
the sender to have a certificate that no one else has or can fake. The
process of signing is impossble to be done without the sender's
private key - if PGP or MS Windows based.
So the FW has nothing to do with this, CVP applications can scan the
content but not sign messages - nothing can actually sign messages,
these also can add a footer with some "signature" like the company
info or security warning - but that's not a Digital Signature.
