[FW-1] Running HP Proliant health management drivers (HPASM) on Secure P

We have 5 firewalls (4 gateways, 1 management) running splat on HP DL360's and DL380's.

One of our gateways at out data center was not contact able, and when l went out l found that the hardware warning light was orange (healthy = green), and it was beeping intermittently.

Normally l would check the HP health tools (HPASM driver) for the hardware status, however l was hesitant to install this package as l didn't know what potential issues may occur if l did.

Has anyone installed the health driver on an HP SPLAT server? If so, what version?

Anything special to watch out for?

SPLAT is based on the Redhat 7.2 OS is it not?
