It seems to be a newer version, build 191, than what was on the CD. The
files are dated June 19th. These are a couple of interesting things I found
in the release notes:
Page 3: The build number reported in the matrix is 619, however that is the
build number for SecureClient R56 HFA03. I think the build number of
SecureClient that was on the CD was 184 and the downloadable one is 191.
Page 56: SecureClient Software Distribution Server is not supported. I see
that the SR_SDS.exe file is present but it doesn't start automatically like
on previous versions. I suspect this really means that the NGX gateway
itself no longer has SDS functionality. Can anyone clarify this?
MSI packages are now available for installing SecuRemote/SecureClient. I
think this might be the reason SDS is no longer supported since MSI packages
can be pushed by commonly available tools.
