Hi folks,
I have some problems with using the dhcprelay at secureplatform. I am running a
multihomed secureplatform based on R55.
Now I want to implement the dhcprelay for a subnet with clients, which are at
interface A. The DHCP-Server with ip B is in a subnet at interface C. So I
configured the dhcp-server list with B and the listening interface for dhcrelay
to A. But the clients get no ip-adress. I can see that the requests are
forwarded by dhcrelay and that the dhcp-server sends a replay to the dhcrelay.
But dhcrelay did not send the reply to the client.
There are no drops in the firewall log.
The only currently solution is to let dhcrelay listen at interface A and C,
then dhcrelay sends the reply to the client. But in the subnet of the
dhcp-server are other dhcp-client that now get two replys. Onbe directly form
the server, the other one form the relay.
So this is not a good workaround for me.
Hoepfully anyone has tried this setup and has a solution
thx an best regards
