Hi everyone,
Last week I've started receiving a fatal error when opening R54
SmartDashboard on Windows. When it gets to "Loading rules", the
application crashes, with a dialog appearing containing:
The instruction at "0x560bb370" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "read".
This occurs on all the Windows XP desktops I've tried, including a mix
of SP1 and SP2 boxes, ruling out a hardware or individual dashboard
installation. Curiously, the other Smart applications all work, and
also, our Motif GUI on Solaris 8 also works fine.
I've seen reference to this error in previous questions on the FW-1
mailing list, with no responses. Has anyone on the list ever seen this
error, and if so, what was their fix?
Cheers,
Dave.
