Hello everyone,
I have a situation here with a crashing spalt, and I was wondering if
anyone has the same issue.

I'm on R55 HFA14, HP ML370 server (G1), with 896MB of RAM.
I did the: fw_hmem_use_alternate_malloc=1, and
fw_smem_use_alternate_malloc=1 modifications to the fwkern.conf file,
thinking that I may have bad memory utilization, and that my spalt is
running out of memory, but it didn't change a thing.

I have two http URI resources defined, and when I enable the two rules
with them, splat will most likely crash 3-4 times an hour. When The
rules are disabled, spalt will still crash, but not as frequently,
maybe once a week.

I found the #sk27082 KB article, which talks about security servers,
but I haven't applied it yet. I'm puzzled by the crashes of the server
when the two URI rules are disabled...unless, of course, they are
still active but not being called when a rule with them is disabled.

Anyone seen something like that?

Thanks

-Ronny
