The same worked for me as well. Restored previous DB version and was
able to push policy.

On my side I have recovered from my last DB revision control, upadated
SDEF, checked "Malformed PNG"
save and install policy and everything is fine now. Most probably
Checkpoint has corrected the corruption since.
