HELP, after doing last smartdefense update on nokia ip350, ipso 3.8, I can
not push out policy changes... says it fails for multiple errors, mainly
"PNG"
I have been trying to do the fix outlined by checkpoint:

Enter User Name:
Enter User Password:

dbedit> modify asm AdvancedSecurityObject asm_update_version 1
dbedit> update_all quit
cpstop
Remove inspect.C file from $FWDIR/conf/ directory
Remove updates.def file from $FWDIR/lib/ directory
cpstart
Login to SmartDashboard
Update SmartDefense
Install Policy
But I do not have experience with CLI, I'm a gui guy... sorry...
Can someone tell me in detail how to accomplish this?
1. do I have to be directly connected to box.
2. how do I switch around directories
3. how do I remove files
any guidance would be much appreciated...
