Hello,
for a couple of weeks i have following error message in my SVTracker:

"PS: Cannot find SecureClient user license - no license present, or
Desktop Security was not installed"

When i login with SecureClient i got a connection to the network, but i got
an error message on the client´s status window:

"failed to update policy from gateway: xxxx" and on the SVTracker i got
the message "PS: User xxxx failed to log on to Policy Server. Policy Server
is not licensed."

I checked my licenses in SmartUpdate and behind all licenses stands
"Expiration Date: never". I checked also our products on the Checkpoint User
Center but they are expiring all at the end of the year. So i don´t think it
is really a license problem.

In the last time i tried to configure a backup management server and i
connected it some times to the network to see if it works. At this time i
had to copy the configs from the old mgmt server to the backup one and if i
connected the backup server i had to disconnect the real mgmt server because
they have the same IP address. Somehow i cannot help feeling that the error
message has something to do with this.

Any help would be appreciated.

(heers

Mark
