Click on SmartCenter Management. If it asks you to register, do so and you'll have a really nice PDF file about how the whole thing integrates.

Subject: [FW-1] Another question about VPN-1 Edge (nated)

Hi all,

i have to manage a vpn-1 edge X series appliance from a Smartcenter server R55 with HF16. Both firewalls (checkpoint module and vpn-1 edge) are nated devices.

How can I define vpn-1 edge object under management server: with dynamic ip or I need to define its private ip?? How can I create policy and NAT rules from management server to push into vpn-1 edge device: using private ip or public ip (nated)??

Thank you very much for your help.
