Hi all,
i have a problem on a Nokia box when processing multicast traffic. A GRE
tunnel is terminating on this Nokia, carrying multicast UDP traffic.
Generally working fine, it happens that packets arrive in disordered
sequence. Looks like that the packets are disordered sometime during the
processing on the box.
According to RFC the box does right, but correct sequence is crucial to this
application. Unfortunately the conditions how the traffic is offered to the
tunnel are predefined and must not be altered, so the use of e.g. TCP or RTP
is not possible, the traffic has to be taken over as offered, no influence
on the other end of the tunnel is possible.
Is there any way to ensure that the incoming packets leave the box in the
right order?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Rene
