Hi!
After many false starts, I have installed ClusterXL on a pair of Dell Poweredge
750's and it seems to be mostly working. I have configured the Cisco switch on
the internal network with the static mac address and I can ping the firewall
virtual IP address and both the physical addresses. I can also ping (from the
internal network) the two physical addresses and the virtual address on the
external network - but I cannot ping the router's ethernet IP from the internal
network, nor can I get out onto the internet. If I create a simple rule that
allows ICMP from the router ethernet IP I can ping the two physical addresses
and the virtual address on the external side of the firewall from the router. I
have set the static arp for the multicast address (0100:5exx:xxxx) on the
router as well - so everything seems to be almost (but not quite) working....
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Duncan
