The only problem that I can see that you might run
into is one box can handle twice what the other can.

If you are running new cards in the IP-380 such as gig
fiber and the quad 10/100 you will most likely need to
run 3.8 or newer code, if you can get the same code
for the 330 then you should be ok.

So if you can get the ipso then youshould be ok, the
other thing is the 330 might not keep up with the
state information under a heavy load on the 380. 

Flows is how Nokia and checkpoint run so fast
together, The only reason to disable flows is for
smart deffinse or you are running some QOS which is
more of a pain than it is worth.

Turning off flows will slow the box down considerable,
I do not recommend turning it off unless you are
wanting to run smart deffense or have some QOS
(floodgate) running.
