Hi,

Have any one got something to compare secureplatfor vs windows 2003

what do you want to use it for? management or module?

imho on the management you should use the OS that you love to work with, where you have a good backup solution and where you know how to script simple admin tasks (log rotation).

on the module you should have a box that really works and where you have no issues with NIC-driver-support or things like that. that's why I prefer to have an appiance (nokia box, secureguard) there. if you don't want to use an appliance I prefer splat (instead of win2k3) because you can't always install the latest windows-patches on your firewall without knowing if MS has changed something in the IP-stack and if your firewall will still work after that ...

further more, there are some features (dynamic routing, multi-ISP) that are only supported on linux (splat) or ipso (nokia), you would loose these features with windows.
