Yes and no. SNMP is a standard protocol. So even Checkpoints own agent is
using standard SNMP. But the Agent that delivers the MIB-II listens on port
161 and Checkpoints extension agent listens on port 260.
Read the chapter about SNMP in the manual!

Can you read any data from the agent? Try
snmpwalk -v1 -c<community string> <IP of the firewall> .system
if not, check
- the rules,
- SNMP agent running on the system (netstat !)
tcpdump/snoop the connection.
